“Working with Angela has been a pleasure.
When I started my coaching sessions, I wanted to work on increasing my physical activity and meal planning. Through my work with Angela, I was able to identify and overcome barriers, begin to prioritize these activities, and make progress. I was able to set boundaries with people in my life and maintain them in order to keep my commitments to myself. I was able to find the inner strength to put my needs on the list.
I would recommend Angela to anyone looking to increase their knowledge on physical fitness and how to make and achieve goals.”
“I had just left a toxic relationship and moved in with my youngest daughter. I was also dealing with a friend who had become possessive of my time.
I was blessed to have someone who understood what I was going through and could coach me as well as help me relax and reduce my stress level.
I felt more connected and grateful for the flexibility of you having been through similar life experience and are stronger now. I did not feel judged. And I came to believe in mindfulness more because of you and it did work for me.
That mindfulness not only helps your mind relax but your body as well. Once completed I feel calmer and more in control of my life, not so overwhelmed.
I would recommend Angela's mindfulness coaching to friends and family, others who have struggled with toxic relationships. Anyone really who needs a good coach and someone who truly cares”.
I was struggling with weight loss, low energy levels, addiction to sugar and spiritually unconnected. I had some minor health issues as well. I was in a real slump.
I really enjoyed working with Angela. I enjoyed the weekly check ins. Angela took issues I was struggling with and helped me to set weekly goals to help overcome those obstacles. She gave me apps and videos to use to help me reach my goals.
I ended up having surgery while going thru my coaching sessions. Angela was a great resource for information about procedure and recovery. I wasn't able to exercise the last few weeks of our sessions, but I have lost weight and feel I am more equipped with resources to help me with weight loss.
I feel happier about my progress spiritually and physically. It was nice to have someone outside my family and friends to share my struggles with.
I recommend Angela's coaching to anyone struggling with work, weight, fitness, healthy eating, family issues, or spirituality.
I was referred to Angie by my daughter. At the time, I had just moved into a house I am renting from a friend. I was needing to unpack, do physical therapy to increase my mobility, and get ready for the holidays. I also need to lose 50+ pounds.
When I started working with Angie, she was able to help me reach goals to begin this process. Each week we discussed the activities as well as my highs and lows. The goals we set were very workable and I enjoyed the positive attitude she had and helped me achieve.
I have always been someone who tried to please others and do for others. She helped me understand that taking care of myself was equally important. We discussed diets and how to do this when you are cooking for one. She gave me apps to try so I won't have to concentrate on food so much.
Even though I only lost a few pounds, I know I can continue my journey of weight loss. I am off of sugar and only use honey as a sweetener in my hot tea. I eat very little fast food.
I would recommend her as a health coach to anyone. I enjoyed my time with her.
Angie, thank you for your inspiring, relieving, insightful and energizing session!
You opened up valuable new perspectives on my current situation of health and wellbeing.
Angie has helped me develop ways to deal with situations using my own knowledge and self-awareness, and She has been very effective in getting me to not only articulate my goals, but do something about achieving them one day at a time. She is among the few people who continues to impress me with her professionalism, hard work, warmth, and amazing insights. Her coaching style and method is very effective. For me, she brings the `Coaching` standards up one level by being so true, compassionate, and down to earth.
One of my favorite things I enjoyed looking forward to during our sessions was getting to celebrate my success. My work is far from done, yet I am definitely on my way. I plan to keep taking these steps and tracking my own progress.
Additionally, I will meet with Angie as I continue to do this work, because I know that the support and the accountability that she provides will keep me on track.
I highly recommend Angie as the coach to hire when you need work through a difficult transition. You couldn't be in better, more expert hands to help you uncover new possibilities, design your best options, and be nurtured by an encouraging belief in your ability to make the big changes you need for the second chances you want.
When Angie and I started this coaching session I was very depressed, no physical acitivity, just not in a good place. I am 57 years old, had been married for 35 years but became a widow 14 months ago. I am a disabled mom, a nana to grand kids and great grand kids. I am also a Christian and am regularly attending church and ladies bible class.
In the months leading up to the coaching, I was same thing basicall but with apps on my phone. They were not working. I didn't do them consistently and had no accountability. I didn't have anything motivating me. So when Angie brought up the idea of the coaching sessions I was very eager to try it out. It was easy to talk to Angie, being open and honest with her and myself. I told her everything I had been going through and where I wanted to be.
We focused on all areas of my life, starting off small but mighty. In the mornings I get up and head to the coffee machine and usually scroll emails, facebook, etc. Now I head to the coffee machine but then I do my YouVersion morning with scripture verses and prayer before life starts getting in my head.
If I start to get lonely and depressed I reach out to Angie leave a message and she will call back. Started focusing on my diet, exercise, social life and being outside. So I started a yoga class at the Wellness Center twice a week and a 10 minute daily yoga app on my phone. I will be starting a diet of healthy food delivery service and doing portion control with eating off a smaller plate. I am talking with my doctors and changing some of my medications for hopefully a better outcome.
Then last but not least shutting down the electronics and hour before bed to help me with my sleep. During this hour I will do a bedtime routine plus 30 minutes of journaling and bible reading.
I have to say this was so much easier doing it with Angie instead of apps. The apps don't have the personal touch of being my cheerleader, my shoulder to cry on, or my leader of showing me how this is going to work for me.
It has been wonderful working with Angie, finding myself in my new normal. She knows when to be the role model I need at that very moment, not to do it for me but to show how to do it for myself.
Oh, I also will be starting a GriefShare in person group in February, so that is going to continue the positive path for me. My cousin's daughter passed away last summer, leaving her 3 teenagers to my cousin. I was able to get my cousin to join the GriefShare with me. So we can see that the work Angie did with me is already stretching out to others!
Thank you, Angie!
I have had 4 Mindfulness sessions to date. I found this practice to be really relaxing and helpful in de-stressing. Many things happening all around this world are causing great deals of stress. You try to relax and your mind reviews the depressing news casts, inflation and all of the on-going illnesses.
I have been able to apply this to my daily life. I seem to have my mind run away at night when I go to bed. It is then, when I center myself and shake off whatever has my thoughts running away, I am able to change my focus. I actually did this last night.
I may start a practice of doing this every bedtime to prepare for sleep. Another place I plan to try this practice is at the Doctor's Office. Many of us experience the old 'white coat syndrome.' In the future, I plan on trying a session of mindfulness before leaving home and after I park the car at the Doctor's Office to see if that will dyspell any fears or anxieties.
